FAQs
What to expect during your first appointment?
Before your first appointment, we ask that you complete an intake/health history form. We recommend filling out the forms online prior to your visit. If you are unable to do so, please arrive 10 minutes early to allow enough time to complete them before your session begins. The intake form provides us with important information about your current and past health, including injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions, enabling us to provide you with the best possible care.
During your appointment, your massage therapist will review your health history, ask additional questions, and perform any necessary assessments to determine your primary areas of concern. This ensures your treatment is tailored and focused for optimal results. All information provided in your health history and during your session is kept strictly confidential.
Is my payment information secure?
We use Jane App to handle all transactions and information collection, including credit card payments. All payment details are securely processed within Jane App, ensuring our website remains completely separate from the payment process.
Missed appointments & cancellation policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A late cancellation or missed appointment creates a gap in the therapist’s schedule that could have been offered to another client.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled or changed without 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the appointment fee to the credit card on file.
What to wear to your appointment?
You can wear whatever makes you most comfortable. Before your massage, your therapist will discuss the areas you’d like to focus on. Massage gel is usually applied directly to the skin, but if you prefer, your therapist can perform the massage over clothing.
Insurance & direct billing
Please note that we do not offer direct billing at this time. An official receipt will be sent to your email after your treatment, which you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Recommended frequency for massage therapy
The ideal frequency depends on your body, posture, previous injuries, and individual needs. After assessing you, your therapist can recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.
How massage therapy can help you?
Massage therapy can help reduce pain and tension, ease headaches, lower stress and anxiety, increase flexibility, improve circulation, promote better sleep, and boost your overall sense of well-being.
